Long time, no post; been "OBE" at work and with home rehab project -- good times! Things I have learned / done / thought in the last *mumblety* since I posted:

- I do in fact have sufficient items to open a small arts & fabrics store; better than half of the storage space I've rented during renovations is art supplies of some flavor ;-) Heh.

- The attic has been renamed "the second floor" and there are honest-to-goodness cunning plans in the works involving ductwork, electrical stuff, and pencil lines a-plenty for the to-be stairs and the to-be archway into the living room.

- Volunteers at the Good Will drop off site may recognize me by the end of the month; I've been there every few days for the last couple of weeks. Amazing what a season change will do for wardrobe purging when I'm motivated ;-) and have an empty back seat ;-D

- Shopping really is therapy; I love the smell of DSW in the mid-afternoon ;-)

- My ribs hurt from laughing :-) BFF Wonder Twin + son = GTs

- Going from a .45 to a .22 shows how I anticipate recoil for the first couple of magazines. Hrm. I can haz dry fire time?

- Looking fwd to an "excuse" to make four pies this week :-D Why choose a flavor, when I can show up as Pie Fairy 2008 with mince, apple, pumpkin, and TBD berry? Muuu-ahhh-haaaaa, etc.

And my "low pro" Pearl chain / cord? Worked *as though I had planned it* as the best medallion chain thingie ever :-) And I'm calling that Roman due to Venus' scallop shell iconography. :-)
 

Most recently to Viking Age Gotland, inspired by questions from a lovely lady in the West who is supercurious about Gotlander beads :-) So I finally managed to post up the "biggies" that I know off the top of my head.... :-)

Anyone have other questions / things they'd like me to post? Seems that my flurry of updates of late have largely been driven by requests from others. Spot the business analyst, eh? ;-)

This is what happens when the temp outside start to resemble "preheat to..." parts of my cookbooks ;-) I'm taprooted on the couch with NPR and the cat, running with pixels.... see what I mean??

Near term plans for a tunica page ... and I'm thinking I'll end up with a page for each major garment / garment type ... Tricky to be meshed in my design w/o a database driving things ... but perhaps I'll leave off that redesign for this fall ....
